The HERRAfix Soft-Edge Tape Tool enables a smooth and precise transition from painted to unpainted surfaces without sharp edges. The device folds a precise folded edge into the tape, which brings considerable advantages, especially when masking partial paint jobs.
Handling the device is effortless for experienced painters. The folding edge puller automatically creates a uniform folding edge. This innovative solution noticeably simplifies the painter's work.

Recommended masking tapes:
The HERRAfix Soft-Edge Tape Tool is recommended for use with Audurra Superior 130°C high performance masking tape.
However, the widely used masking tapes 3M Scotch Tape 3030 and 3434 also work perfectly.
!!!! Due to different roll thicknesses, masking tape properties and adhesive strength, many other masking tapes available are not compatible with the HERRAfix Soft-Edge Tape Tool!!!
Operation of the device:
- Slide the tape roll onto the holder and loosen a piece of tape.
- The adhesive side must face up. Fold 1/3 of the tape manually to form an edge.
- Push the folded edge under the black edge cover and pull the tape forward.
- When the tape is pulled further, the edge is folded automatically and evenly.
